If you already have a set of plans you wish to build from VHH can work with you make this dream home a reality. Just provide us with detailed plans and site details and the VHH team will provide you with an estimated cost for the building of the home on your site, based on our standard specifications or your own. We will let you know if we need further information than your current plans show.
Provided this estimated cost meets with your budget expectations VHH will then apply for resource consent (if necessary) and any other preliminary consents that may be required for your particular location. While this consent process is underway you will spend time with the VHH team to finalise your choices of external claddings and interior fixtures & fittings. This becomes your 'Finishes Specification'.
With the plans and 'Finishes Specification' finalised and contract documentation signed, working drawings will be developed (if not already completed) which are sent to council to obtain building consent and also used by the professionals who will build your home. Our team will work with you to assist in the selection of floor coverings & paint colours.
Building then commences which is overseen by a VHH construction manager. Throughout the building process we will be in regular contact to keep you up to date with progress. Our construction team will be working hard to build a quality home for you, in a timely manner. Your home will undergo a thorough quality assurance check prior to handover, plus within 90 days of handover if there are any maintenance issues brought to our attention we will address them immediately.
